Nail Tech License & Certification Requirements By State
To become a licensed or certified nail technician, the education required may vary depending on your state of residence. While most states require you to attend an approved beauty school, some may allow you to complete an apprenticeship instead. In addition to training requirements, it’s important to be aware of state-specific guidelines regarding continuing education units (CEUs), license renewal periods and fees, license reciprocity, ỏr transfers, etc.
